Obinim Admits He Dreamt the Anas Meeting, Blames Angel Michael for Poor Signal

After weeks of confidently announcing a top-secret alliance with Ghana’s most elusive journalist, Bishop Daniel Obinim has now clarified that the “meeting” with Anas Aremeyaw Anas may have occurred during a dream—right between the one where he was flying to Jerusalem and the one where he was coaching Barcelona. According to Obinim, Angel Michael was transmitting divine intelligence straight from the heavens, but the signal was “a bit foggy.”

Explaining himself to his congregation during a spirit-led press conference (also known as Sunday service), the bishop said he mistook the dream for real life because “the Anas in the dream removed his mask and said, ‘It is me, Anas. Let’s sue Kennedy together.’” Unfortunately, due to the spiritual network glitch, those may have actually been lyrics from a gospel remix playing in the background. “The spiritual realm is just like DStv,” Obinim clarified. “Sometimes the signal gets scrambled and you end up watching Emmanuel TV when you wanted Al Jazeera.”

Anas, via his earthly representatives at Tiger Eye P.I., dismissed the claim with a holy eyeroll, stating, “Our investigations do not require spiritual collaborations. We deal in reality, not REM sleep litigation.” Social media users are now divided, with some defending the bishop’s visionary confusion, while others fear he’s just one dream away from declaring himself Ghana’s next Chief Justice.

Meanwhile, Angel Michael is yet to respond to the allegations of signal failure. But Obinim has vowed never again to act on dream-based legal strategies without at least two angelic witnesses and a confirmation via burning bush. The congregation, however, remains loyal, with many insisting that even if the meeting was imaginary, the intention was real—and in Ghana, that counts for something.
